    I have an iPhone which can hold one physical sim and something like 8 e-sims. In an ideal world I’d have an esim for my UK number and get a physical sim abroad. At this time, sadly, Three can’t offer me an esim until my contract expires. 

    I did try to get an esim whilst in Malaysia a couple of months ago but that proved impossible.

    I suspect that within a couple of years physical sims will be a thing of the past.
