Hi all. I mentioned on a previous thread that I am looking to get my bathroom completely redone soon. One bit I am struggling with is the layout and would welcome opinions.
I used this tool to create the layout for the following pictures - https://bathroomplanner.victoriaplum.com/en-GB/.
The current layout - Just a couple things to note here is that the windows have window sills, the one above the bath is a little wider and the one above the toilet is about the width of the toilet is reality. The door is inbetween the shower and the radiator and opens towards the shower. We are looking for a combined shower and bath and a towel rail is a must. The room is 260cm X 160cm.

Proposed layout
My initial plan was to have the bath going width way. Main reason for this is it solves the issue of having the shower right next to the window which is a privacy concern and also a concern of water sitting on the windows sills (which will be tiled). I also feel like the wall along the windows is a bit wasted, though I appreciate the space it leaves

Plan number 2
This one was put together for me. It puts the shower next to the window which I was not initially a fan of. I am thinking to mitigate the privacy bit with maybe some waterproof blinds (assuming they exist) and ensuring the shower is pointed slightly away from the window when we are using it. I like the design, especially when it's fully done in 3D. My main dislike is the shower next to the window and it not looking as spacious as the others.

Would be great to get your thoughts and highlight anything I need to consider. When I had some designers put some things together, moving the appliances around didn't seem to be an issue at all (then again, they are not paying for it). More than open to other suggestions.

Go with picture No3, keep the shower away from the window, move the wc under window wall closer to the side of the bath. Then you’ll have whb/ vanity on r/h wall. Should the have enough room to fit some tall units. I would also try and have a large mirror on the wall. Make the room appear larger.

I wouldn't have a towel rail if you can fit in a radiator, they just don't seem to generate enough heat and what heat they do put out, is soaked up by the towels rather than warming the room!
Nothing worse than a cold bathroom in the middle of winter!2 -
