Old account with Northern Rock

Hi all,
I've been going trough my paperwork from years ago and found document for an e-saver account I opened with Northern Rock in 2009. Unfortunately I don't have any statements, only a letter confirming the account was opened and the account number. I'm fairly sure I withdrew the money and closed the account but as I don't have any paperwork to confirm this, is there a way to find out for sure? I know NR doesn't exist anymore so no idea where to start.
Thank you!

Northern Rock was bought by Virgin Money in 2012. If you need to trace your account this may be a starting point:

Clydesdale and Yorkshire Banking Group folded in the Virgin Money bank (which had the Northern Rock "good bank" savings account residues in it) circa 2019. The brand still exists as one of the main ones they use - as that was viewed as positive in the merger of several.
Savings accounts would have gone along that path (if active). Rock - VM - CYBG

I’d get in touch with Virgin Money as they will now most likely have your record of Northern Rock if anyone does, even though they are technically Clydesdale Bank. It’s most likely you won’t, as most banks would have closed inactive accounts after a while and sent you a cheque/transfer with any remaining funds.0
