Disconnecting Secondary Electrical Supply

Back in 2015 we paid SSE over £3k to install a second electrical supply to our house as we were splitting it into 2 flats.
Subsequently we have had to return the property into a single dwelling HMO however ever since have continued to have 1 gas supply and 2 electrical. However in the current climate its costing a lot more money to have two supplies for no reason so Im wondering if I can disconnect / logically remove the second connection to save on the standing charge etc?
I dont know enough about what was done in 2015 to know if this will affect the tenants or not - does anyone know?
and is what Im discussing feasible or the right thing to do?
I calculate it could save us a minimum of £154 a year in standing charge alone..
Thoughts? thanks in advance!

Speak to SSE, they are the owners of the cables to the meters.2006 LBM £28,000+ in debt.

You'll need the supplier to disconnect the 2nd supply.
What have they said?
Will disconnection involve internal electrical work? eg some rooms or appliances, or sockets etc are fed from the 2nd supply so would need connecting to the 1st supply?
SESE won't do this- you'll need an electrician.1 -
