bt broadband extender setting up

Hope someone can advise how to get to different versions communications!

I have had the bt extender type 200 for a number of years and wished to add to it. Have purchased type 600 that soec says are compatible with 200.

After reading quick setup I cannot get them to communicate together and cannot find bt instructions (web page unavailable) so not sure how to get them l working as one system.

New ones are broad'd extender flex 600.

So far the 200 is the unit connected to router but is not very accessible!! (That system still works fine.

Any experience of mixing types and getting comms going?
