Is it safe to buy an Iphone via Amazon? I only seem to hear horror stories about different items turning up and Amazon refusing to refund as there is no access to what should have been delivered in the first place.

Does it have to be bought through Amazon, especially if you’re wary of buying through that source? Tried someone such as Back Market?0

Same can happen with any online orders, Amazon just process such a volume of orders that you'll hear about it more often from them than say JL.
I've bought and returned much more expensive things than an iPhone from Amazon and never had an issue.1
