Hi,
Today following MSE guidance I managed to negotiate a £60 a month reduction on my Sky deal, my current deals ran out this month so I did have a little bargaining power to start with. I wasn't afraid to leave and told them that.
The first conversation was a bit of a joke, I was told the best deal he could offer was only £15 a month reduction, I quickly told him I wasn't interested and was prepared to leave them, to cancelations he reluctantly sent me!
This guy was much more relaxed and even sounded confident he could do me a better deal, I told him he'd need to!
In the end he saved me £60 a month with nothing lost from my current deal, it did take a little while but well worth it.
£60 x 18 months = £1080 SAVING

You won't save £1080, because your price will almost certainly go up over that period (you don't say what Sky service this is) so your gross saving will be less.

Makes me wonder just how much were you paying in the first place , £60 per month less sounds very good, but another way of looking at it , if they are still making a profit on you given the substantial reduction they have agreed to, they obviously have had your pants down for months/years ( however long your previous agreement was for ) , what you have achieved is ( figuratively speaking) , is to get your pants , which were around your ankles, pulled up a little , to your knees0

If you can reply with what package/channels etc you have for £60 this may help others. Remember though that the full prices Sky claim are ridiculous and no one pays these (or shouldn’t anyway).0
