Please help. I parked in ASDA Carpark during Covid in August 2020. As we were forced to queue outside shops banks etc I was late returning to my car. I offered to pay instore but was told that as ASDA do not manage the carpark they were unable to help. I appealed against the fine and lost. Now 3 years later I am getting letters from ZZPS demanding £140. I tried speaking to them but they dont listen. Everyone was forced to queue. Shops were limiting numbers and sometimes I was waiting up to 30 mins. Now they are threatening bailiff action. I truly believe this to be an unfair fine given the national pandemic etc. What can I do. I have never had a ccj in my life. Now it's apparently going to court

  • ZZPS is explained in the NEWBIES thread.

In a nutshell, ZZPS is owned by a bod called Osner
Osner invented the "THE OSNER SCAM" which is to add fakes amounts ... and you do not owe £140
THIS MEGA SCAM WAS APPROVED BY THE BPA JOKERS

Don't contact them again, there is nothing they can do and they lie.
Of course these idiots CANNOT give a CCJ

If you do feel inclinded to contact them again, just tell them to crawl back in the sewers where they belong

ZZPS letters are not bailiffs.  Impossible at pre-action stage.

You are meant to laugh at those and ignore them!

CERTAINLY NO PHONING ZZPS - CONSIDERED BY MANY TO BE UTTER SCUM.

The fourth post of the NEWBIES thread bears no repeating & already tells you what to do with such threatograms...!

Which parking firm are ZZPS purporting to be representing?
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

Unusual tie-up ZZPS and PE. The PPC client of ZZPS will be showing on the letter you've had from them. Please check it.

As Umkomaas said .....Unusual tie-up ZZPS and PE

WOW .... PE have lowered themselves into the OSNER SCAM.
    Must be very desperate ???

All explained a few posts back.

Short memory has Parking Eye.  In their Supreme Court Case it was ruled that the Parking charge covered the cost of operating the scheme ?
That did not involve the OSNER SCAM

The foolish parking brigade, the PPC's, the idiotic debt collectorrs such as ZZPS, the puesdo legals are all living in cloud cuckoo land.WITH THE FAKE ADD-ONS

Anyway, PE have their own legal dept, so it is said, they don't use 3rd party upstarts......... except for a freebie scary letter from ZZPS or whoever they think is a mug at the time. They have used the "freebie" with DCBL as well
There is no doubt that money scammers also get scammed

All county court judges are aware of the Parking Eye v Barry Beavis case in the Supreme Court.  They will also know that the court accepted that £85 was fair and included the operation of the scheme.

    YES £85 ... NOT £100 ... NOT £170

IF PE do take you to court, the judge must be shown the ZZPS letter.
You must also copy in your MP

Where did the £100 come from you may ask ?   The BPA of course who also allowed the OSNER SCAM of £170

You are not getting a CCJ. No worries.

Was this in Scotland or not?
