Hi Ya
I Might need a cheap laptop for work Sub £180 but they are window S mode.
Something like this as it is light also but has windows S and i need stuff like google sheets, adobe edit and word.
Can i get rid off S without parting with money and have a normal windows OS?
Thanks

What's wrong with it?It will be corporate disposal, the battery will be near end of life, not a problem if you use it at home and can plug it in, which you would anyway to get decent performance out of it.Odd that it is win 10 home, you'd expect pro, first thing I'd do is get the recovery image off Dell and re-install, I bet it will load up pro.Oh, recon. means "wiped over with a damp cloth, a working OS installed, and it stood being left on overnight without exploding"All the recon/refub IT equipment I've ever bought has needed years of fluff vacuuming out of the heatsinks & fansI want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....

They are still a good buy though, if you expect the battery to be on its last legs you can only be pleasantly surprised.You could probably chip £10-£15 off the price by making an offer, you get to make 3, I'd start at £160, then try £165 and £170, then just pay full price if you want it.I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....

They are a reputable seller. Very popular a few years back when they released a tranche of these;

If they were already working properly there is nothing to refurbish/recondition.
