Hello,
Has anyone ever had a refund on a closed credit card? I had concert tickets refunded but it went to my closed AMEX card. AXS is saying the payment was made and no bouncebacks and AMEX are saying they rejected the refund.... no one knows where the money is and no one will help!!!

YOU need to get the ARN (acquirer reference number) from the retailer. Also get the amount, date & time of the refund. To chase Amex.
As often they are not bounced back, but go to internal account, which the front line have no idea about.

Do you mean 'now need', i.e. the exact opposite?!born_again said:No need to get the ARN (acquirer reference number) from the retailer. Also get the amount, date & time of the refund. To chase Amex.

I once had £17 refunded to my Santander CC, to this day 10 years later they still have it. I thought they might find it in an audit but it's gone. Funnily enough they do manage to find debts.0
