Travel insurance annual

We usually purchase a family annual travel insurance that we keep renewing or changing for a better one isf possible. One of my daughters is now old enough to be left at home so she will not be coming to every trip. My question is, can we use our current travel insurance if not everyone is travelling? Or do we have to purchase a new one?

You'd need to check the policy terms about which permutations of travellers it supports, but it's likely to be OK....

Family annual policies normally cover all members travelling together or separately or any combination there of. Some may put restrictions on minors travelling independently

Ultimately each policy is defined by its own terms though and you should read them to make sure your policy works in the same way
  • Are there any travel insurance companies that cover annual worldwide multi trip polices including USA for people over 74 with pre-existing medical conditions for more than 31 days per trip

    Hi OP

Best to check with ins co,
Then note and confirm if and what was agreed via email.

IMO, giving them a call is a peace of mind,

Cover up to 45 consecutive days for trips ending in the UK - Co-operative Bank Everday Extra which costs £15 monthly - covers two people in a joint account. Details via this link.
Cover is up to age 80 (day before birthday) - if you have pre-existing medical conditions there is a 'phone number for the insurers where you can discuss details before opening the account. I can give the number if you wish to enquire.
They were happy to cover our "routine" conditions at no extra cost.
