Buying out sibling from inherited parents house

We recently went through this, my Wife inherited 50% of her Granparents house and her sister the other 50%.
We intended to buy her sister out with a mortgage for the 50%.
I started to do it myself and quickly realised the £1000 the solicitor was going to charge me was a small price to pay to make sure it was done right and I didn't have to concern myself with filling out a multitude of forms. The house had a restriction on it because the Granparents were tenants in common so that was more forms to remove the restriction, in the end I just got a solicitor todo if for us as a transfer of equity.
If there is no mortgage from the buyout then I believe you just need to do a TR1 form which probably needs the ID1 form for both of you.
Just give the LR a call, I called them a couple of times and they were incredibly helpful.
