All entries will be judged by the Hits Radio production team, the production manager, and an independent judge.   We will be selecting finalists from the open of the competition on the 18/01/2023 at 00.01 until the close of the competition online entry period on 25/01/2023 at 10:00. On shortlisting, we will require the nominators to coherently explain their entry and discuss their entry. The entry must be compelling and match the entry that was entered online.     On being called during the entry period does not mean that the entrant and their nominated friend will come on-air to play the game to win. The finalists who will be invited on to play to win will be told this by the Hits Radio production team during the entry period.     All nominators will be called ahead the competition segment being recorded.  If the chosen finalist is unavailable when we come to call them a competition record date, a backup finalist will be chosen in their place and the original finalist may miss out on winning. There is the chance that some of these competition rounds will be pre-recorded prior to the show times but after the finalists have been selected.   The 1st finalist to be picked to record an on-air segment be notified they are selected no later than 12pm on 20/01/2023    The 2nd finalist to be picked to record an on-air segment be notified they are selected no later than 12pm on 23/01/2023    The 3rd finalist to be picked to record an on-air segment be notified they are selected no later than 12pm on 24/01/2023   The 4th finalist to be picked to record an on-air segment be notified they are selected no later than 12pm on 25/01/2023   Each day from Monday 23rd January to Thursday 24th January the winner segments will be played as live/ or as live if pre-recorded on-air during the Hits Evening Radio show. The nominator and nominee will be bought to air/ pre-recorded chatting through their entry.
3. ENTRY PERIOD	Start Date and End Date. Pre-registration: from 18/01/2023 at 00.01 (Start Date) to 25/01/2023 at 10:00 (End Date).   The on-air portions of this comp will take place each day from 23/01/2023 until 26/01/2023, between 19:00 and 22:00. The finalists will be given information of when the exact timings will be ahead of being brought to air.    Entries received before the Start Date or after the End Date will be invalid.    Winner Announcement. The name and the hometown of the winner(s) (s) will be announced on the KISS FM UK Breakfast Show from 23/01/2023 until 26/01/2023, between 19:00 – 22:00.
4. ENTRY RESTRICTIONS	Open to UK residents aged 18 years or over on date of entry.  Both the Nominator and the Nominee must be 18 years or over on the date of entry Our employees (and their family members) or employees of any company involved in the Competition, including any Prize Provider, are not permitted to enter. We reserve the right to disqualify any entrant or winner who does not comply with any of the eligibility criteria and/or is in breach of these Terms. We reserve the right to repeat the competition mechanic or any stage of it in order to draw a winner that fulfils all of the eligibility criteria and is in compliance with these Specific Terms. Winners will pick their chosen match, which must be available through official primary sales channels or official ticketing agents. The Prize Provider will not purchase tickets through secondary resale sites. Winners must contact prize provider with three preferred sporting matches no later than six weeks prior.    Prize Package 9 additional terms:  Supercar Prize  Minimum age for driving 17 (under 18s need parental/guardian consent); Guidelines are that you should be between 5ft and 6ft 4in with a maximum weight of 18 stone to be safe and comfortable to drive. These may vary by venue, and will be advised at point of booking;  All participants must hold a full UK driving licence and present the original on the day of the experience. International licences will be accepted. Please note: anyone deemed to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted to participate. Family, friends and children are welcome to spectate. Viewing is available for spectators. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult. Some driving operators require customers to complete an Indemnity/Damage waiver form on the day of the experience.  This may state that the driver will be liable for a fixed amount of costs should they damage the vehicle whilst driving.  Most of these suppliers are able to provide Indemnity/Damage Waiver at a small additional fee (usually £20-£45) payable on site.  The purchase of this is optional and is in addition to the Public Liability Insurance held by all venues.  The full details of any indemnity or damage waiver will be provided by the activity operator.

By entering this Competition, you are consenting to our use of your entry both to publicise this Competition, our radio station or any other radio station which we own or control. This means that we may use all names, images, descriptions, photographs video footage, and other information, which you have submitted on entry, in any media, without paying you any remuneration therefore and without any time restriction. You also agree that we may film, record or photograph you in connection with the competition and /or the Prize if applicable. We will own these films, recordings or photographs and we may use them publicly, including on the internet, for our radio broadcasts and/or for any promotional purposes. You will also have waived any moral rights or right to payment that you may have had.

 

1. MISCELLANEOUS. 

 

• Entries which do not comply with these Specific Terms or the General Competition Terms and Conditions will not be accepted and any entries may be disqualified if we have any reason to suspect that there is a breach of, or non-compliance with, these Specific Terms.
• Where a competition mechanic involves the answering of questions, the correct answers to questions must match our answers to win (or be sufficiently close in our sole reasonable opinion) to be acceptable. In the event of any dispute about any answers given and whether they are correct, we reserve the right to amend what we deem a correct answer, however we are not obliged to, and our decision in either case is final and no correspondence will be entered into. 
• We are not responsible if you fail to get through when you call / text to enter, or if you lose signal during a call. 
• You are responsible for all costs of entry and where necessary, obtaining the bill payer’s permission. Please refer to your tariff with your network provider for information about charges you may incur for entry into our competitions via any SMS or phone call entry route. 
• We accept no liability for network, technical or signal errors, issues or failures experienced by entrants when entering the competition or at any stage during the mechanic of the competition.
