Lost BBC1 on Freesat channel 101

We have Freesat. We've always watch BBC 1 on channel 101 (SD), suddenly during the day, when we changed channel to 101, the screen was black and within seconds a notice said to view BBC 1 HD via 106.

What have I done wrong?. We turned the power off for a while, then on, but it made no difference.

    Nothing you have done wrong, have you been able to watch it on 106? I believe that Aunty Beeb are changing their freesat channels to HD and ergo then you may need to re-tune your box 106 always showed me London News(not East for me) but I think that may now change so Regional channels are well regional . I will check mine when I get home

    I forgot to say that as we're in the Weymouth area we have always entered a postcode of Plymouth for example because we favour south/West regional news. Otherwise we get south/east. Oh, what dies ergo mean please.

    Thats standard.  It is unlikely BBC will upgrade local transmissions to HD.

    The meaning of ERGO is for that reason : because of that : therefore, hence. How to use ergo in a sentence. Merriam Webster dictionary

    Funnily enough, we had started watching BBC1 on 106 and that pink page came up. We're now watching recorded stuff as I darent fiddle with TV till I know a bit more, I'm mid 80's and don't want to loose TV altogether.

    See if you can see bbc south west on 962, it may just have been a glitch

    I tried that, typed 962, it came on, football but within five seconds the screen went black, typed 102 back to bbc2
