    Thanks everyone. I will wait for the certificate for a couple more weeks - they are coming to my friends house down the road so at least can hassle them in person.

    Why don't they just publish a table with the current rates on, not just the rates at install, my rates are 16.51p and 5.99p, so I think that takes them to 18.7p and 6.79p, or overall on 50% deemed export 22.1p per kwh..... I think.

    They do publish a table of current rates.  But the rate you get depends on the install date so it there are tables for the different install periods.
    Install 28th Nov 15, 3.3kW, (11x300LG), SolarEdge, SW. W Yorks.
    Install 2: Sept 19, 600W SSE
    Solax 6.3kWh battery

    Except we want to know before these are published so we calculate it ourselves :)

  • You just need to be an expert in determining the classification of your installation.  I honestly looked at that list and thought it was the original rates only.  Think I've fund it under retrofit....
