1. Do we know the dates that University lecturers will be on strike. I've just read that it'll be 18 days in Feb and March, but not seen any announcement as to which dates which I thought was meant to have happened by now.
2. 18 days is a lot. Can students claim compensation for missed tuition (which ultimately they will be paying for later)?
Thanks.

They’re meant to be announcing the dates next week. With regards to some of the tuition fees being refunded, there was a big difference in approach last time round. Some settings were more willing than others to consider it.
Cambridge, for example, was a definite no.All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

The only strike date which has been announced so far is 1st February (which coincides with many other strikes). Other dates will follow next week.
While I fully understand the frustration for you as a student, please do have a read of this: https://www.ucu.org.uk/media/10715/Our-four-fights/pdf/ucu_four-fights-explainer.pdf
The strikes are not new, and have been going on for some years now, without any movement. Like many others, in the middle of a cost of living crisis, this is now coming to a head. You can only push people so far.
