Airport parking Heathrow

I've not flown for quite a few years and was used to the shuttle bus type options for parking. Now, when searching to book for April - it's all Drop and Go, and very few park off-site and get the shuttle bus. Where have they all gone?!  I'm a bit wary of the Drop and Go options as you hear horror stories of them parking your car in random places, and cars coming back damaged and dirty, but yet other options are very very expensive! It's also hard to find the car park where they actually will park your car. The cheapest option set to be AirTime parking, but has any one good a good experience with them? A lot of terrible reviews, yet I appreciate people tend to only bother to review thins if something's gone wrong rather than right, so can be skewed. Many thanks.

  • I used the Heathrow official parking last month. Car park is at the East End of the airport and there is a shuttle bus to T1, T2 and T3. I think there is a similar facility at the other end for T4 and T5.

My default choice is Purple Parking on Bath Rd. I've used them lots of times and never had a problem.

Also worth checking deals at hotels if you have an early flight.

    purple parking / aka  Holiday extra's ...
Price is beyond a joke, there pirces are so stupidly high, it makes you wonder why they charge so much ?
thats right, to pay for those stupid annoying adverts!

I fly from heathrow twice a year.  In May last year, i vowed never to use Holiday extra's again (thats purple parking, as they bought our PP), waiting 1hr for a bus on the return, then doing a tour of all terminals was not good....
What i have used over the years, is JustPark, and have parked at the Marriot hotel on the Bath road...
Am booked in twice this year..
Cost is reasonable, and i have the choice of a 10 min walk to bus stop for free bus to T3, or catch taxi, or pay to jump on the hoppa bus direct to terminals....

The drop n Go stuff, unless i drove a shed of a car to the airport, i would'nt risk my pride and joy with someone who wont feel the same about my car as i do :)

    JustPark, take a look......

I found it was only a little extra to stay the night in an hotel - using terminal 5 long stay parking.
