Nationwide cash deposit option not available

Why would the cash deposit option not be available? This is one of the modern cash machines that doesn't use the envelopes, I have used it previously. The cash deposit option has been greyed out on my last 2 visits both on Mondays. Is there something special about Mondays? Do these machines get too full of cash on Mondays? The cheque deposit option has been available on all visits.

Usually it means the machine is full or there is some other technical problem with it.0
