Apologies I'm not very computer savvy so bear with me on this please.

Ive recently started working for a new company and they have now given me my own work computer. It has windows 365 and i think that means it comes with cloud storage (OneDrive).

For the past few months i have been using my personal laptop (my personal laptop also has OneDrive cloud storage but ive never used it).

Earlier today at work i tried to add my personal OneDrive account to my work computer but it keeps saying something like this computer already has cloud backup and so unlink the existing account. What is it going on about?
Can't i have two OneDrive clouds on my work computer?? (i want to work on the excel document on my personal laptop sat in bed in the evenings and then drop them into my personal cloud and when i go to work in the morning they will be accessible on my work computer. At the same time i don't want to delete the existing work cloud storage or unlink it just incase I'm not supposed to do that.

What do i need to do for this to be a reality please????

I’d check that you are allowed to access company files on your personal device first. Most companies prohibit this for all sorts of legal reasons.

The way I would do it is to save on the work OneDrive and send yourself a link with edit permission.

Almost certainly blocked by company policy, it certainly is at mine! For too easy for a disgruntled employ to copy company documents onto personal OneDrive
