Magnet Nordic craft!

We really like the thought of having the new Nordic craft range as a feature island. We've been quoted for 3 drawer units nearly 4k that's without the worktop. It's solid oak but am I being unrealistic thinking that's expensive. That's with the 50% discount!

Maybe we might just have to suck it up and go with it and get the rest of the kitchen from somewhere like IKEA as we only really like this range from magnet for the island.
Or go for oak veneer as a cheaper option and just get the fronts from somewhere and use IKEA carcasses.
Thanks @Doozergirl at least I know it's going to be an expense.0 -

Had the oak specially made and then bought Ikea for the rest.Having other doors put onto Ikea units is not a budget option either. I'm not sure the cost of the doors weighs up with the overall cost/quality of the unit. I think Ikea is great, but they have some decent doors themselves.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

I have looked at the IKEA kungsbacka as it goes so well with the oak. Think I need to book in with them to get some ideas.
Thanks for the link, great help!
We're thinking of dekton worktops as we love the khalo but we've been quoted 5k from magnet for the kitchen and island. @Doozergirl would you recommend anything similar but not with the price tag? We'll probably end up getting the worktop from somewhere else.0 -
You'll get a better price for it if you don't go through magnet. Get your google on and buy the worktop separately. This goes for most elements. We went a bit nuts on our worktop too, which isn't common at all - I think one supplier in the country, but I think I saved something like £3k with some serious googling and finding that supplier directly.Forestviewhouse is a former MSEr. I met her here in 2006 and in real life about a year ago 🙂. She did some of the photos for our new website.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Just wondering how you got on with the magnet nordic craft one? its a kitchen island I would love including the Khalo Dekton paired with a cheaper off white slab handless one,

Yes we did go for it in the end. Just the island and paired it with a handless DIY kitchen in I think it was Dakar.
Get some many compliments about it, we love it and went with a quartz top.
