Google Maps on iPhone

I use google maps on my car display via my iphone as it sync's to my work schedule app.

I prefer Waze as it has various features including speed camera alerts but that won't work for my empolyees app.

I've been told google maps has this feature but I can not find it in the settings.

Please does anyone know if this is still the case and if so how I switch it on?

I've seen a video that says to go into Settings - Navigation Settings - Speedometer, but my version doesn't seem to have that available. I have downloaded the latest version but without success.

Please does anyone us google maps on iphone and have this option?

Thanks

  • This is an Android phone. Have you scrolled far enough down to see this? Below "Map Display".

Bit confused. Are you trying to get Google Maps on the iPhone to sound an alert when there is speed camera?

If so I don't think the "Speedometer" option will achieve that, it will is simply just display your current speed. Anyway it doesn't appear to be an option for the iPhone version.

Thanks everyone, as has been pointed out above the speedomotor function seems to work fine on an android phone but is missing on the iphone.
