TERMS AND CONDITIONS for “Shell Recharge + KISS RADIO Competition" (On-Air Competition).

1.COMPETITION MECHANIC AND HOW TO WIN	This is a pre-register competition to take part in the on-air Shell Recharge competition.  (A) In order to be eligible to win, entrants must go online to kissfmuk.com and tell us the following details:  1. Full name and contact details 2. How they like to ‘recharge’ to feel their best. Examples of entries include adventure seeking for those who like a thrill, going on nature walks, relaxing at a spa, etc (B) Registering to participate in KISS Radio’s Tatum Show promotion does not provide any guarantee that your request will be selected to participate in the on-air competition or that you will win a prize. Shortlisting and being invited to play the on-air game:   (C) The KISS Radio production team will draw a shortlist of potential contestants from the pre-registered entries received. Entries will be judged by the KISS production team, the production manager and an independent judge. Entries will be judged by how entertaining, unique and compelling they are.   (D) Before each competition round, KISS will select a shortlist of entries, using the judging criteria above. On shortlisting, KISS will contact the entrants and we will require those who are shortlisted to coherently explain their entry. The entry must match the entry that was entered online and the judging criteria above. The entrant may then be selected to go to the next phase of the competition, to go live on-air to discuss their entry.    (E) On being called during the entry period does not mean that the entrant has won, and they will only win once being told they are the winner* by the presenter on air.   (F) If you have been selected to play the on-air game, you must be contactable on the phone number you provided, and on the time and date agreed with the KISS Radio production team. (G) The KISS Radio production team reserve the right to choose another contestant from the shortlist if they are unable to contact you. Pre-registration will be open from 16/01/2023 at 00.01 BST until the close of the competition online entry period on 25/01/2023 at 15.00 BST.  The competition will air during the KISS Radio Tatum Show (“the Show”) Tatum (“the presenter”) between 13.00am and 16.00am, Monday to Friday during the competition period stated in section 3.   (H) The contestant will join the presenter on air and the on-air game will start. (I) The presenter will ask the entrant to tell them about the story they submitted online to win the prize.    (J) Refer to Section 5 – Prizes, for more information about how the prizes that have been won will be awarded to the winner.   (K) The entrant will only be deemed a winner, upon entry being selected and are told by the Presenter and KISS production team that they are a winner. 2.ENTRY PLATFORMS AND COSTS	(A)   Registration is restricted to one per person (B)    The only way to be included on the shortlist for a chance to win, is to register online at kissfmuk.com or planetradio.co.uk/kiss  (C)   Online entry is free of charge.
3. DATES	Start Date and End Date.  Online Pre-registration: from 16/01/2023 at 00.01 (Start Date) to 25/01/2023 at 15:00 (End Date). The on-air part of this competition will take place each day from 23/01/2023 until 27/01/2023 between 13.00 and 16.00. The finalists will be given information of when the exact timings will be ahead of being brought to air.   The winner of the competition will be announced on-air during each competition round. Entries received before the Start Date or after the End Date will be invalid. Please note KISS Radio reserves the right to remove the competition for an event such as a public holiday.    Winner Announcement. The name and the hometown of the winner(s) will be announced on on-air after each competition round.
4. ENTRY RESTRICTIONS	Open to UK residents. If under 18 years of age, prize will be sent to a parent or legal guardian aged 18 years or over. Proof of age may be required.  Our employees (and their family members) or employees of any company involved in the Competition, incl. the Prize Provider, must not enter. Anyone who has won a Bauer competition to the value of £500 or more within the past 6 months on any Bauer Radio Brand, they or anyone living at the winning address will not be eligible to win this competition. If by any chance they get through to the phone lines – any prize they have been successful with will not be awarded. We reserve the right to disqualify any entrant or winner who does not comply with any of the eligibility criteria and/or is in breach of these Terms. We will own these films, recordings or photographs and we may use them publicly, including on the internet, for our radio broadcasts and/or for any promotional purposes. 1. MISCELLANEOUS. 

a)       Entries that don’t comply with these terms won’t be accepted and you may be disqualified if we think you’ve breached them.

b)       One entry per person.

c)       If there is a dispute about the operation of the Competition or correctness of any answers given, our decision is final and no discussion will be entered into on this subject. 

d)       The correct answers to questions must exactly match our answers to win.

e)       We are not responsible if you fail to get through when you call / text to enter, or if you lose signal during a call. 

f)         You are responsible for all costs of entry. 

g)     You may be disqualified if you are incomprehensible, inaudible or if you appear to be driving, intoxicated or likely to offend listeners.

h)     Whilst on-air, you must not make inappropriate or offensive statements.

i)      As far as it is lawful to do so we exclude our liability for any losses suffered in connection with the Competition.
