ATM withdrawal limit

I have a question to which I can't find an obvious answer. The wife and me have a joint Barclays current account. Both of our debit cards are set to the maximum £500 per day withdrawal limit. What I can't find is whether we could both withdraw £500 per day or, if one of us has already withdrawn that amount, the other would be unable to withdraw anything.
I came into this world with nothing and I've got most of it left.

I don't know about Barclays but I DO know that with NatWest the daily withdrawal limit is per account, not per account holder.#2 Saving for Christmas 2024 - £1 a day challenge. £325 of £3661

Also cash machines are limiting withdrawals, I have FD account and £500 limit.
Tesco and 3 banks only allowed max £300.
Put card in twice and worked, but should be £500 in one go.
For your issue I wold try and take money out on both cards on the same day.
If you ring Barclays they may not know.0 -

As a aside, you can talk to you bank & get the daily limit increased for a short period if you require more than you given daily limit.Life in the slow lane0
