BA Booking Errors

I recently went to book a holiday through BA.COM and having entered my payment details got a message on the website saying there was a problem confirming my booking and that I should call BA. When I called, the agent said there was a pricing error on the website and offered me the same holiday over the phone but with a price increase of £280 ie 16% higher ! This is the second time inside a year this has happened to me. Surely BA are bound by law to honour the price offered ?

If you check the t&cs it will usually cover pricing errors
they do not have to honour the incorrect price and you do not have to proceed at the new price

 It’s not an error it’s “dynamic pricing”  there is a holiday available at that price but with only a limited number of  seats on that flight / rooms available  at that price on that date. So once these are booked the price goes up. 

As @Caz3121 has said it’s covered in the T&Cs - Section 10

“ 10. Holiday Package prices are updated every 24 to 48 hours, are accurate when published and may vary upon reaching subsequent pages. Availability may be extremely limited particularly during peak periods.”
