The kitchen maze...

I went DIY Kitchens and I love it. Quality seems really good, a great array of choices of door style/finish/colours. Arrive built so need space to store them, but saves on installation time. I spent a fair bit of time measuring the room, building the ktichen layout on their online planner; I tried copying a layout Howdens gave me, but DIY Kitchens actually offered better cabinet options for the space I had, so I had less filler and more useable space. Thier consultants were great at answering questions too, and obviously it was pretty cheap compared to some others. It was in early 2021 but ~3.5k for a U-shaped kitchen.
Wood worktops separately from Worktop Express.
I had a local builder install it having done some work to remove walls etc to prep the space, and he was great at ensuring the whole kitchen was finished to the standard I wanted.1
