Eon/Sainsbury's smart meter install system down
Ater a couple of months wait, three text messages and two phone calls from EON to confirm I have a smart meter installation today the chap turns up and says the system is down so can't be installed. Neither can he rebook it until the system is up. Sainsbury's website says "we are upgrading our systems so all meter installations are on hold".
Joined up processing there people. Or has the system's encryption been upgraded for you I wonder?
Not sure how turning up and aborting for a systems reason fits in the compensation rules. Badly I suspect.
