Morning all. Up late as went to bed late, stayed up with OH playing games. Took OHs mum sofa shopping yesterday. Our waterrpoof coats turned up so I put mine on straightaway, good job too because the heavens just threw a washing bowl of water over us in the space of a second after getting out of a shop. How expensive is Sofology? Double the price of everywhere else that's how expensive. Some lovely sofas though, you can see where some extra money has gone in them but still...After that took OH to work, came home, ate soup, promptly fell asleep on sofa for three hours [ this is to all the people saying how much I do...
] Woke up, drank some tea, watched some programme, fell asleep again for an hour, fetched OH from work...I have just changed tablets and I think that may not be helping until I'm used ot them. Today I have nothing planned but I will run out of teabags so I'll get some of those and not look at anything else..hopefully...maybe..
snoozer, us too. I found a good one in B+M the other day, it has five columns as well as the days of the month, enough for one each for us and one for both of us for appointments, birthdays and a spare. Very useful. Izzy, they are expensive but I think ours are relatively less compared to how much gas and electric would have been 24/7 in our house. Our wood has gone up thirty pounds a load since last year. I've burned one load and am starting on the next so far, we usually have a good bit left over but not usre we will this year, I've deifnitely used it more. I hope you find something less strenuous to do if they do sell the shop...Scarlet, I haven't decorated in so long I may have forgotten how to do it..I know my father would have been horrified if I paid anyone to do something I was capable of...Sometimes though...Good luck..Tospy/TA/Floss, I used to pick them in Wales, we called them winberries, lovely and tasty..Rosy, I have not heard of this mix, sounds like something I need in my lifeGers, hope you have fun planning! . Nanny, have fun destroying creating..
camelot, glad your HT is getting better..TA, well, at least you tried with the freezers
But now they are full and saving you money
Shout out to the unwell and poorly, shield bubbles against rain for anyone venturing out, enjoy the ark like weather..

Hello all, the sun is out today, don't think it will last though. We've had another trip to B&Q this morning, think we've got shares there or something. Now I'm having a coffee before I start, although Mr Fix It has started already filling in the plaster disaster. Our wallpaper was mid range but still £26 a roll and so far this room has cost a fortune, I hope I like it when it's done😏 Dad's already told me he won't like it and he hasn't even seen it yet ! I told him in that case to keep his eyes shut, it's not his choice 😠
Sadly I broke my hoover yesterday and had to use my upstairs one, I think I've worn it out, it is old so it's done it's duty. I have 2 as I can't be trusted to carry one upstairs nor down so will have to look for another now. More money flying out the door.
Right coffee break over, thanks for all the encouragement but I think this will be the last time we will do it. It was last done in Oct 2016 (it was written on the wall under the paper) so hopefully it won't need doing for a few years and then we will have to get a someone in to do it.
Hugs to the poorly ones and anyone struggling or feeling down. 🤗
Take care all

Just a quickie from me as I'm just running a lovely bath. Very busy day at nursery as we have 4 new little two year old who were into everything. DD had asked me to have little one tomorrow night rather than tonight so I'm enjoying the peace and quiet. At least there was no rain today so we could get outside - we had torrential showers yesterday.
Hope everyone has had a good day.
Gers - I think it will be a fascinating place to visit x6
