National Express Funfares.
Should cost about £8 to get to Bristol Station. Then catch a local bus from there to the Airport.
Probably cost you about £12 all in.0 -
You say 'morning' - could we have a bit more detail? What time is his flight, when does he want to be in Bristol itself etc...
Bristol Airport is 8 miles away from Bristol itself, there's a bus that goes from Bristol Temple Meads (the railway station) to the airport.
In terms of buying just one ticket, if he travels at 9.45 from London Paddington, arriving at Bristol Temple Meads at 11.35, the ticket costs £24.50 for a 'Firstminutefare Leisure Standard A'.
I realise this might be too late interms of getting his plane, so I'm looking into split ticketing now...0 -
Look on nat express website. Can travel by coach from london to bristol airport. Leave 7am takes about 3.5 hours. Cost £22 one way. Sure you can refine the search. Poss get a coach card?:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0

Didcot Parkway MAY be a good place to split tickets - don't guarantee it will work though. Be aware that only about half the trains stop there.
I think megabus go to Bristol as well0 -
Megabus goes to Bristol, dropping in the centre of town (Colston Hall). Having just checked the Megabus site, a 0730/1000 seat is £9. Bristol's regular bus service should go to the airport from the centre ... from memory a one-way is a couple of pounds but if he needs to take two buses, then think a day-saver works out cheaper.0
