Premier Parking Enterprise/Logistics advice

Hi,

My BIL received a fine on his car for “No Ticket” he did in fact pay and has appealed and provided evidence (a picture of the ticket from the machine covering a 12hr period).

The appeal has been declined by Premier Parking Enterprise. Pictures on their website do not show the ticket on the dashboard.

Story is that he paid, put it in the window, as he shut the door the ticket blew off the dash. He didn’t realise as it was 7:20am in December so was dark out.

I believe the next bit of advice for me to give him is ignore ignore ignore ?? But just wanted to check if there’s anything else he should do I.e. appeal through IAS or local MP etc?
have tried reading the newbie thread but got confused when it came to actions for IAS and when/if to even attempt an appeal through them.

Thanks

    It is not a fine.

Please confirm the name of the PPC as it appears on the PCN or signs as the name you have quoted is confusing.

There are at least three companies with the name Premier Park in them but not all are IPC members.

Is this a Walton Wilkins PCN? I'm not sure if his outfit is still in the IPC. Perhaps one of the other regulars can confirm this.

Plan A is always a complaint to the landowner and MP.

In certain circumstances a good IAS appeal can win, but there is only a 4% chance of doing so which is why the advice is generally to ignore that stage, and ignore powerless debt collectors, but not ignore a court claim.

PCN says “Premier Parking Enforcement” with appeals quoted as needing to be sent to premier parking logistics

Not really, he's litigious. Best go through the process of an initial appeal to show that you've tried to resolve the issue by going through his appeals requirements. The NEWBIES FAQ Announcement, first post, covers this.

BIL already sent an email to the email address on the back of the PCN with his name and address etc. It wasn’t a templated email (only got the screenshots of the emails today). They rejected the appeal, said he’s got to pay or can go to IAS.

The OP's last visit to the forum was 3 February 2023. Maybe unlikely to spot your question. Send them a PM, that way they should receive a notification email from MSE to say you're trying to contact.
