Almost fell for wrong Renew Driving Licence site - should I worry?
Renewing my licence but in too much of a hurry and ended up on one of the places that charge an extra fee. I noticed before paying anything but more concerned about the detail I entered before realising I was on the wrong site.
Do I have cause to worry about my details being used in ID theft?

No, I doubt there's really much risk of that.1

Many people say they are fraudulent websites but in reality on the surface most are just terrible value (I could put the Post Office's check and send service in the same category) and potentially unethical rather than fraudsters.
Some will say if they have such low ethics what stops them selling details to other undesirables, the counter argument is that whilst unethical its not illegal whilst attempting ID fraud or facilitating it is and it is a big step from being underhanded to criminal.
I personally think the risks are relatively low but worth keeping your eye on the credit reference agencies for applications etc.1
