RingGo payment delay & Parking Eye notice

Options
Hi, I’m a regular user of RingGo for parking and have it on automatic top up. I received a new bank card recently and hadn’t changed the details on everything as took a while to realise that card number had changed from previous. I parked in usual car park on 21 Dec (fee £1.20), on 28 Dec I checked my emails and found in spam box notifications from RingGo that I needed to update my payment details as auto top up had failed, I did this and topped account up with £10. Last week I received a  Parking Eye invoice dated 30 Dec for £100 (£60 of paid by 13th Jan). I got in touch with RingGo to say that my account had been topped up before the Invoice had been issued and asking if they could reflect
this on my account. The response was that they had issued 3 payment update requests on 24/25/26 Dec and I had not done so until 28th and they could not manually adjust payments (payment for parking on 22 Dec went through fine). They suggested I appeal through Parking eye appeals procedure. I would prefer to engage directly with RingGo than Parking Eye - does this forum have any advice please?

Plan A is always a complaint from the keeper to the landowner and their keeper's.

Pursue the problem with Ringo as a parallel issue.

If a landowner cancellation is not forthcoming then appeal to ParkingEye using the template in blue text you will find in the sticky Announcement for NEWBIES.
Check to see if the PE NTK is a golden ticket. There is an example of this in the NEWBIES. If it is then add a one line that the NTK is non PoFA compliant and therefore the keeper cannot be held liable.

Ringo are contracted to the landowner, Parking Eye are also contracted to the landowner.
There is no contract between Parking Eye and Ringo, the Parking Eye invoice date of the 30th refers to a parking term on the 21st (just a normal administrative delay in posting out), which was not paid as per PE's T&C's.
Ringo can't do anything about that, and PE only make their money by people messing up, they won't cancel easily on your say so.
The only way out is as Fruitcake has outlined.
