So just to wrap it up
I got a Claim form on the 29th from the County Court
I have submitted my AOS,
I sent a SARs to UkPCrap and they sent me 6 shoddy pictures they have been storing for 6 years
DCBL Ltd said they will NOT put the case on hold
I also sent a SARs to DCBL Ltd DPO -- awaiting a reply
So now if I submit my defence, I just wait for a court date?0 -
Nice one, all sorted in a single afternoon. That's good to go. I think you will be referred to the 12 steps in the first post where you found the defence template to answer your last question. 4, 5 and 6 tomorrow. & 7 onwards in due course.
BBC WatchDog “if you are struggling with an unfair parking charge do get in touch”
Please then tell us here that you have done so.4 -

DCBL Ltd said they will NOT put the case on hold.Of course they did - quite correctly - because you can't ask for that after a claim has been issued.
You could have used that tactic last month/ from November onwards and probably got the case past the 6 years - but too late now.
Why send a SAR (not SARS - that's a disease!) to the solicitor? No advice suggests that and you certainly aren't waiting for it.
They hold no data that you want.
Please read the 12 steps in the Template Defence thread so you don't have to ask us sbout the first tedious letter from DCBLegal or the N180 standard form that the resources here already tell you about.

Thanks for all of the advice and help it really does work. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

A discontinuance = a win.
ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST!And we sincerely hope that you are au fait with the need to respond to the private parking Government Consultation and draft Impact Assessment?
Anticipated THIS MONTH.
We all need to ram the nail in the coffin of the false £70 'DRA fee' add-on, that actually funds the court claim and toxic CCJ culture, as well as the DRA and roboclaim 'legals' gaslighting of people.
Please come back here when it opens.
If you are not a regular reader, to be alerted you'll need to bookmark the thread by MSE_JC at the top of the forum and enable (on your profile) email alerts for bookmarked threads.
We need all MSE-reading victims of this horrific harassment and bullying by parking firms and their hired 'legals' to be heard.
See you back here in a couple of weeks please, or in August, if you and your motoring family want to stop this litigation rush by banning the £70 add-on fee that disproportionately funds the roboclaim firms.
It will only be open for a few weeks.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
