    I think it's a little more nuanced than that.  You may have rights to a replacement or refund, but it could prove to be a tricky one to enforce, so the pragmatic way forward might be to accept the partial refund.

    I would agree with that view.
    You could have a valid claim but how much do you want to battle (and could lose)

    You can always counter Aldi's offer and ask for a bigger percentage or a fix cost (say cost of new cushions),  but they could also withdrawn the 20%
