That is why I pulled the trigger and switched to EDF yesterday from Bulb. These EDF tariffs are great for those with a high night ratio.Officer_Dibble said:Me too, our night time usage is well over 80%I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). Are you looking to shift a lot of your usage to the off-peak hours? Were you on an E7 tariff with bulb? All tariffs now are protected by the government price cap, although E7 rates do vary quite a lot. How does your annual cost compare to what it would have been with Bulb?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the In My Home MoneySaving, Energy and Techie Stuff boards. OP I've just managed to switch to single rate tariff with EDF. It took 3 months to get it sorted out and I ended up having to complain via Resolver. A lot of the people you have contact with there have no idea about the tariff and will tell you you can only have a single rate tariff if you switch to a smart meter. This isn't true. You may have to be persistent. Take names, make notes, and refer them back to their own recorded conversations if needs be.

OP, how is the property heated and hot watered? Because, if it's all-electric, then your electricity usage is unfeasibly low. Hence the assumption that your heating and DHW is gas/oil/solid fuel?No free lunch, and no free laptop
