I’ve just got the paperwork for my first ever PIP review. I got awarded standard rate on both 3 years ago for autism and adhd. My conditions are of a developmental nature hence don’t get better. If nothing has change at all will still want to call me in for a face to face? Can they stop your award if nothing has changed at all?? I’m so stressed I don’t want to go through the face to face again and I’m also scared that they will stop my payments. Thanks
TOTAL DEBT JUNE 2019: £38,233.87 Aiming debt free mid 2023. All bad debt written off / paid by January 2023. No missed payments in 2023. Only one active credit card to pay off! I DID IT 🎉

it is likely you will be required to have an assessment but most assessments are being done over the phone,
Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.

The might, they have the right to. Nobody can tell for certain what they will do

    Sadly yes they can.

With that in mind it shows the importance of filling the new form in correctly

Did you get PIP awarded by the DM? ( did you need an appeal)?

Your award can either stay the same, be decreased, increased or stop completely. Having an award now doesn't guarantee an award this time. You need to make sure you treat this as a new claim, even if nothing has changed since you last claimed.

Use extra sheets of paper because there's never enough of room to add all the information on the forms. Make sure you add your name and NI number to everything you send. Include any extra evidence you have with the form when returning it.

If you need extra time to return the form then you can ring PIP to ask and they'll give an extra couple of weeks.

There are long delays with a lot of reviews so it could be inexcess of several months before a decision is made.

  • I had to appeal after mandatory reconsideration and won at tribunal
