You can keep sending evidence up to the time of final decision.mrsdoyle said:How long after applying for PIP am I allowed to send more updated, important evidence ?

If you get a decision by the DWP that you don't agree with then that can be appealed (if in time-frame) and will go to a tribunal (after mandatory reconsideration) and that's the final decision.
So if the DWP makes their decision but you then get new evidence while in the appeals time-frame you can submit the appeal and also the new evidence.
But if the DWP decision isn't appealed in the time-frame then that is the final decision
Anything evidence after the final decision would have to be submitted as a new claim.

Then if you need to challenge the decision it can be used for that.

As an add on to make clear.
If you are waiting for evidence and it hasn't come by the time the DWP makes their decision you can still appeal ( to get to a tribunal will take a year plus) and submit evidence once it comes.

Indeed but the first step to an appeal is the Mandatory Reconsideration.

It does seem to be a quirk of these forums, if you post around the same time as another poster then that poster posts are shown.
(if that makes sense)
