Does anyone here use it regularly? I've only used it as part of a trial. I quite like the option of changing car every month.
Other than downsides, other than cost and lack of equity?

Prices are very high so it's not great in anything other than the short term. However it's a great way to see if an EV would work for you without the commitment.

If they still operate as they did under their old company name of EVZY, then you don't get a physical key either. You have to access the car through their app which uses BT to unlock the car.

There is also a hardwired dashcam.

Insurance excess is also high (around £1,000) and costs extra to add named drivers I think.  Mileage allowance is pretty generous but will need to factor in any extra mileage per month.

Also bear in mind there are delivery and drop off charges, so factor that in the cost for each month if changing regularly.

Don't know what availability is like across the range. Can be a long lead time.

I have seen this idea mentioned elsewhere.
I am confused as how I would "test" whether EV works irrespective of the financial cost of the subscription schemes.  A big part of the "test" has to be charging and, for me in any case, that would mean needing a home charger in place which I don't have and is a big cost for only a short term test.
If I "tested" EV but without the home charging would that not end up being destined to fail?

You could charge at home using a granny charger so in 12 hours you would get 100 miles ish per night. Or just buy a charger £1000 is not a fortune compared with the monthly from ONTO to give yourself the best chance of success, if you  don’t go fully electric you should probably go plug in hybrid anyway. Or just use local rapids for the couple of months knowing that when you get a car charging will be even easier.
