in Cutting tax
Hi all, do I pay capital gains tax on the sale of shares from a company share incentive plan , in the UK , the shares are still in the share shop and have increased over the years to a considerable sum , the HMRC website is a bit ambiguous if you pay tax or not

https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/savings/sharesave-scheme/ is perhaps a bit more user-friendly but chances are that gains made since you had access to the shares will be taxable, albeit subject to the annual CGT allowance.
