I found this in the greenhouse yesterday, and I wondered if anyone knows what it is? It's got a bit of a u-shaped bend, and is slightly forked at the bottom. I should have cleaned it before taking the photo, really.

Might not be garden-related, of course, I've just presumed it is because of where I found it.

Looks a bit like an upholstery tool but intrigued what you have there 😺Just my opinion, no offence 🐈1

I believe it is what they call a daisy grubber (lifter)6

An old fashioned weed puller... wedge the base of the weed in the V and use the bend as leverage to pull it out.

Oooh. I’ve found one of these in our garage and wondered how to use it. Thought it was a bit too big to scrape between the paving stones with. 😜Declutter challenge 2023.

They are brilliant. Only found them recently when working with a friend who had one.I would recommend a new on though if you have a lot to get out. I ended up with blisters from lots of weed grubbing one year. The new ones have a soft grip handle. Under a fiver

Funnily enough I've been looking for something to help dig dandelions out with, so I'll give it a go - I'm glad I didn't buy one from the local expensive garden centre. I usually have gloves on, and a short attention span, so probably won't get to the blistering stage.
Thanks for the advice.1 -
I didn’t even know these existed, but now I want one 😁I removed the shell from my racing snail, but now it's more sluggish than ever.2

Local hardware or even a Poundland type shop when the gardening stuff comes in.Blue they are wonderful. Make life so easy. An that plus a scraper for between close flags/blocks etc.and you can tackle a lot of stuff.Should I even mention a tool belt? I do have one but tend to use an old basket to fill with tools. Easy to put them in to return too.
