TERMS AND CONDITIONS for “Magic On The Beach Online Competition” (the “Competition”).

 

These terms and conditions (the “Specific Terms”) for the Competition should be read alongside  our general competition terms and conditions at: http://www.bauerlegal.co.uk/radio-competition-terms.html (the “General Terms”) which will also apply to this Competition. Where there is any conflict between these Specific Terms and the General Terms, the Specific Terms shall prevail. 

 

 

 

1.Entry ROUTES and Costs	Online Competition:     Entries are restricted to one entry per person.   Entry to the Competition is available via the following routes:   Online at www.planetradio.co.uk/Magic/     Online entry is free of charge.
2.COMPETITION MECHANIC AND HOW TO WIN	The prize winner will be selected by electronic random draw. We will be selecting the winner from a pool of correct answers to the multiple choice question on the entry page.
3. ENTRY PERIOD	Entries must be submitted during the following entry period:   From Monday 15th August 2022 at 00:01 (the “Start Time”) to Sunday 30th April 2023 (“End Time”).   Entries received before the Start Time or after the End Time will be invalid.
4. ENTRY RESTRICTIONS	Open to UK residents aged [18] years or over on date of entry. Our employees (and their family members) or employees of any company involved in the Competition, including any Prize Provider, are not permitted to enter. THE PRIZE	Online Competition:   1 x Winner of the following Magic x On the Beach (the “Prize”):   4* All-Inclusive 10 night holiday to Spain Please note due to the current Covid-19 situation, delivery times may be extended and may over-run the 28day delivery period as noted in our General Terms and Conditions. There may also be delays to a member of staff contacting winners once the competition has ended.   Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable and no cash alternative will be offered.   Additional Terms and Conditions On the Beach Limited ("OTB") hereby agrees to supply the Prize (as defined below) to HBVB, a company incorporated in England & Wales (company no. 08453545) whose registered office is Media House, Lynchwood, Peterborough Business Park, Peterborough, PE2 6EA to be used in connection with the ‘Monday Magic’ giveaway on 18/07/2022 as part of the OTB sponsorship of Magic Breakfast Show. HBVB accepts that the Prize is supplied subject to the Prize conditions set out below and HBVB shall ensure that the recipient of the Prize (the "Winner") is referred to such Prize conditions and made aware that by accepting the Prize, the Winner will be deemed to have accepted and will be bound by the Prize conditions. 1.ENTRY ROUTES AND COSTS	Entries are restricted to one (1) entry per person. Entry to the Competition is available via the following routes:  online at: Magic.co.uk (the “Competition Website”). Online entry is free of charge.
2.COMPETITION MECHANIC AND HOW TO WIN	There will be one winner of the Competition. The winner of the Competition shall be decided in a series of games (the “Challenges”) to take place during the Magic Breakfast show between 06:00 am – 10:00 am on 19 January 2023 (the “Live Final”). To be eligible to participate in the Competition each entrant must go to the Competition Website during the Entry Period (defined below) and answer the following questions:     What is your funniest holiday story? What is your holiday ritual? What is your best holiday ‘celebrity spot’? Each valid entry will be judged by a judging panel made up of members of the Promoter’s (defined below) production team and an independent adjudicator (the “Panel”). Each entry will be judged on the following criteria: The stories the judging panel deem to be the most interesting, funny and entertaining. Five (5) entries will be shortlisted (each a “Shortlisted Entry”) and each of the entrants who submitted a Shortlisted Entry shall proceed to the Live Final. Each Shortlisted Entry will be selected after the End Time (defined below). The entrants who submitted a Shortlisted Entry (each a “Shortlisted Entrant”) shall be contacted by a member of the Promoter’s production team after the End Time. If a Shortlisted Entrant cannot be contacted within three attempts from the initial attempt to contact them, then their entry will be invalidated, and the Panel will shortlist an alternative entry that fulfils all eligibility criteria and complies with the terms and conditions of this Competition. To be eligible to participate in the Live Final, each Shortlisted Entrant must:  participate in the recording of an on-air segment on the Magic Breakfast show between 06:00 am – 10:00 am on a day allocated to them by the Prize Provider’s production team which shall take place between 9th and 13th of January 2023; nominate by 6th of January 2023 a UK resident aged 18 years or over to participate in the Live Final with them (the “Partner”). To be eligible to participate in the Live Final, each Shortlisted Entrant and their Partner must:  attend a security meeting at Gatwick Airport on the 18 January 2023 at a time specified to them by the Prize Provider’s production team; stay the night on the 18 January 2023 at Holiday Inn London – Gatwick Airport near Gatwick Airport (the “Hotel Stay”); and comply with and successfully pass all third-party checks / requirements (including any security and/or background checks) to attend the Live Final at ‘My Lounge’ at Gatwick Airport. The Hotel Stay shall be provided by Element ON THE BEACH – GATWICK AIRPORT ACCOMMODATION AND TRANSFERS – 5 x Prize Winners (each with a guest – 10 people total) Prize package for 2 people includes: 1 nights’ accommodation at Holiday Inn London – Gatwick Airport (Povey Cross Road) on 18th January 2023, based on sharing a twin room with breakfast and return transfers between winner’s home address and Gatwick Airport.   Winner and guest must travel at the same time with the same itinerary; Winner and guest must be over the age of 18; Hotel accommodation is based on two adults sharing a twin room;  Hotel accommodation selected by the prize provider at their sole discretion, no other hotels are available; Hotel accommodation does not include any meals (other than breakfast), incidentals, gratuities, or telephone calls. Any other personal expenses incurred during the trip will be the responsibility of the winner and their guests; A credit card for incidentals will be requested by the hotel at check-in and therefore either the winner or their guest must possess and travel with a valid credit card; The prize excludes meals and drinks (except where specified above), excursions, attractions, treatments, visas, insurance, personal expenses and anything not expressly stated in the prize package; All elements of the prize are subject to availability; If unavailable, experiences and items of a similar nature and value may be offered at prize provider’s discretion; The prize trip is to take place on set dates 19 January 2023 and 31 December 2023 subject to flight availability. The name and the hometown of the winner(s) will be announced on-air during the Magic Breakfast show between 06:00 am – 10:00 am from the 9th – 13th of January 2023.
4. ENTRY RESTRICTIONS	Open to residents of the United Kingdom aged eighteen (18) years or over on date of entry. Our employees (and their family members) or employees of any company involved in the Competition, including any Prize Provider, are not permitted to enter.
