Morning all. Another night of weird sleep. The decorations are slowly being sorted and I think my glue gun is coming out today. Once that's done it's make a start on putting up some shelving instaed of the bookcases in the lean to. House looks like a tip again, I expect if I pulled my finger out it wouldn't take too long to make presentable. But my get up and go is restricted to things I want to do these days
I might light a fire later, it hasn't been on for a while and I know it's cold in the house because my ears are cold...it's not too bad though really. And it's sunny today for the first time in a while so that always helps with the mood cheerer-upper...
Gers, lovely of him but it's difficult isn't it when you're already mentally prepared for what's coming up to insert another object into the food puzzle..That's quite ruthless of you, getting rid of a wardrobe too...but a good idea if you really don't use it.Izzy, how constantly very annoying...take a step back, do what you have to and no more. Happy free kindling though!..Nanny, hope you found something of interest in the middle..I am always tempted by kitchen stuff even though I have enough to outfit an army. Coxy, I am not worried about driving say up to an hour ish away, but more than that and I get a slight flutter in the stomach, which I do my best to ignore knowing that google maps is only a tap away on the phone. That has got to be in the top five of useful apps. [and you can download routes in advance if there'll be no signal] The double whammy of dark and rain still scare me though. Scarlet, you made my mouth water with the mention of dinner...nom...TA, I did do that last year, but it didn't last long when the lure of YS stuff struck and it was back to the two freezers again...snoozer, glad you're enjoying your car, shame about the elephant in the bathroomRight, take care all, hope the MIA are ok...

Morning all, hope everyone is well or recovering. I've just come in from a quick trip to town. Just wanted to get out of the house and as DS1 isn't working today it was a good opportunity as he was in to keep pooch company. She seems more fretful these days, old age I guess.I went into MnS to have a look at their sale, got 2 tops and a pair of jeggings cheaper, needs must really as a lot of my clothes are now too big and look a bit daft so they'll be going to the CS. I'm not boasting about the weight loss- just stating a fact
Got some ys fish, mushrooms and cottage cheese so a bargainous hour well spent in town- popped to the library too. Saved me getting something on my kindle! DH usually buys himself a paperback every few weeks but has been avidly reading a box set of 10 detective novels I got cheap on his kindle ages ago
I had a good chat with 2 friends on the phone yesterday, nice to catch up.Need to do my online shop for the end of the week, and carry on with my sorting too. Bye for now - take care all x:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. (Eleanor Roosevelt)11 -

It's my eternal struggle. Actually, all of the coats and jackets in the wardrobe are too big for me too so are probably not worth keeping. I use them to reassure myself that I've not put on most of the weight I lost a number of years ago.Disappointingly the weather has turned very dark, wet and windy again. I've got the living room light on. Roll on March.9
