I have the above 10 year old, never used, LOGIK item and according to the instruction manual I can connect it to my PC and use it as a monitor by means of a VGA cable, and will also need a audio cable.
Has any one used something like I have as a monitor screen (it's a lot larger screen than my existing PC monitor screen), does it work ok and are there any problems in setting it up.
I'm not a tech wizard, I get by but need some advice on this please.

I used similar for many years. VGA quality of course but not too bad. Check.power consumption against a monitor power consumption if you plan to use it for extended periods.1

Probably at best an HD screen (1920x1080), so not a fantastic resolution. Nowadays I wouldn't want less than a 4K external screen.
Should just work, HDMI would be better than VGA if both end support it.1 -
HDMI is better quality but when I used HDMI to a TV screen the windows desktop was cropped. Solution was to use vga.1
