In praise of John Lewis and Evri (well, someone has to!)

Hi, I've praised Evri on here before and our couriers are still doing a fabulous job, it has to be said.

Recently I had to return something to John Lewis and all I had to do was go to my online JL account page, click on return, choose the method of return - Evri collection from my home - and a label was ready for me to print. I then booked a time for Evri to collect.

Evri collected, the parcel was returned and I've now received a full refund from John Lewis, full postage included.

Couldn't be more pleased with the service I've received from both.

I know both have not always been well praised on here, so felt I had to praise both to redress the balance, if possible.

Thanks, JL and Evri!!  One satisfied customer.

In my experience, and I use Evri a great deal, this courier is the best and I always scratch my head when I hear criticism and wonder whether those critics expect 100% satisfaction instead of the 95% that Evri always maintain----very high standard.

Totally agree.  Living in a rural area most of my non food shopping is done online and I’ve had dozens of parcels delivered by Evri with no problems.  Sadly our nearest JL is now 100 miles return so it’s a rare treat to go there but I buy things online with no problems

Yeah waiting over three weeks for a parcel with no contact from Evri is just head-scratchingly critical!  :D

Fortunately there was someone in to receive it, as they only sent an 'out for delivery' message and hour or so before it was delivered.
