Update.
Called pension credits, they said the attendance allowance triggered "interference lines" which meant it had been stopped incase they underpaid him. Its all started again, he will continue to get pension credits and they haven't made him move to UC.
Thanks for all your help.2 -

No one is automatically moved across. Glad it's been sorted.0 -

They stopped PC (or AA) therefore underpaying him, because they might have been underpaying him?

I missed that part because i didn't read it correctly. (it was early) That's very likely not the reason. As advised a few times in the thread when a disability benefit has either been awarded (or refused) it can cause another benefit like PC to be suspended because it would have flagged a change on the computer.

All very confusing, I was awarded Attendance Allowance a few weeks ago, when i got my bank statement i saw my pension Credit had not been paid since receiving Attendance Allowance, I rang them they said the systems were down, they rang the day after and I was asked to answer some question, which would be passed on for processing and assessment. I am wondering if I should have told them about Attendance Allowance but as the payments are from same place they would know anyway..?0

Attendance allowance often entitles you to more Pension credit depending on if anyone claims Carers for you.
They put the PC on hold while they work things out and then restart it with any extra due plus back pay."All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of thing shall be well."1
