Have a Zanussi washing machine?

Zanussi themselves wont reply to me so I'll ask here.

Question I have is how when you set the timer off (delay start) & you realise you've forgotten a few items, how do you cancel the program so that you can open the door & add them? Surely there's a button combo to do it?

 Not Zanussi here, but my WM gets locked only after the cycle starts.

I have a different model zanussi. Try pressing the start/pause button. If that fails try the on/off button. If that fails try holding the on/off button for a few seconds.

If you hold the delay start button down after settling does it then continue to cycle through the delay options? If it does then it will cycle back to zero and you can quickly turn the machine of. If it does start then stop it and move the program to drain only, once that stops you can open it up.
