  • As per my previous post, I applied online early afternoon on Sunday.

    I received emails first thing this morning (Tuesday) confirming account opening with banking details and my membership number.

    I was able to log in and change my password very easily. There is also a pretty decent app.

    So far, it would be difficult to find anything negative to say.

    Thanks for this David. I applied Sunday afternoon and got my details today too - and so far seems quite good! My one concern is the online platform and app aren’t showing my accounts yet, stating you have no active accounts. I’ve sent them an email and will call when I’m next free between 9am and 12:30pm but I’m hoping it’ll be rectified overnight or something automatically

    Heard back already - ‘Our online app only shows the account once there is a balance available to display. Once funds have been deposited this will show for you.’

  • My account became 'live' so to speak and was showing in the app about an hour after I transferred some money across.

    All very smooth so far.

    @brucefan_2, do you hold more than one account with DCU please? And if so, does the internal transfer option work for you please? The Christmas RS doesn't appear on my internal transfer list, and apparently that's normal but it seemed a bit odd!
