Electoral Roll

Hi - I hope someone could help me.
I check my credit report every month with ClearScore and this month it’s tells me my electoral roll has been updated. I have moved or anything like that. It is showing as my correct address. I’m hoping someone can put my mind at ease.
I know they publish a register every December and do their canvassing in July but I don’t know why it says my details have been updated.
Many Thanks
Gemma

The canvas runs till 1 December when a new register is published, like you described. Chances are ClearScore or whoever they use have only just updated their records following the canvass.

Clearly if ClearScore have updated your address it must have been wrong in the first place
I don't take much notice of them, they had several things wrong in my account, I wrote to them and they replied saying they would fix it.
Still the same nothing has changed0 -
My Clearscore account says the same - Electoral Roll updated. I think everyone’s will be the same. I read it as your details have been checked / verified against the latest ER which was updated in Dec. I don’t see it as anything to be worried about.1

Mine is the same. The dates have also extended, it now includes 2023, where it didn't before.
Simply an annual update in my view.0 -
I had it too. Haven't moved. So would interpret it as they've checked the latest roll, I'm on there, and they've added a year to my history. Wouldn't be anything I'd worry about.0
