Hi all

I have an issue with email account - I changed my password the other day & now I cannot access it on my phone or via Outlook.

But I can log into Office365 - I log into my office account and my email works fine - I can get to the Outlook application on my Mac, but I cannot receive / send any emails - I have changed the IMAP / SMPT passwords - but no joy - used to work no probs when I changed the p/w before - any ideas?

Thanks Mark

I changed the password on one of my email accounts the other day and couldn't send from my phone..  That was because I hadn't changed the SMTP portion.  This was using the native iOS mail client.

You say you have done this though.

You may find it easier to delete the email account and then add it again with the new info - I have had to do this for someone on their Mac & phone.  Worked fine.
Things that are differerent: draw & drawer, brought & bought, loose & lose, dose & does, payed & paid

Office 365 and Outlook/Former Hotmail is not the same thing.

What gets me a bit is you are using what I consider the best OS system and an Apple Mac computer yet you are using also MS Windows software

Apple has it's own email and office software free, there are many office suites out there as good as windows without paying a subscription

Thanks for the advice - I managed to resolve it by completely deleting the email & starting again - no idea what the issue was - but all working.

As to why I use MS Office - well I use it at work & feel very comfortable with it.
