Car Insurance for Disabled Person using hand controls

Can anybody recommend a car insurance provider who would insure me as an additional driver on my husband's car if we had hand controls fitted to it?  I have a Motability car with hand controls but it would be really helpful to be able to drive either car in different circumstances.  Thanks.

Yes... its not a string and pully system to pull the accelerator using a hand lever.

Most insurers will normally be fine with modifications for disabilities.
