Bitsoft 360

Anyone heard about this? Is this legitimate?
I have seen adverts of it (80% of the trades are positive!!) and as soon as I try to sign up some dodgy guy calls me and wants me top deposit $250 to OPEN the account. It smells REALLY scammy but the reviews online seem great! What's going on?
I never invested in bitcoin but this is some kind of trading platform that trades crypto automatically with fees of 2% per trade.
any advice before i throw money into the toilet?

  • Trust your sense of smell.

Even the most vanilla/established crypto exchanges are fragile, unsafe, places to store money in this current environment.

Besides which, if they're able to win 80% of their trades on crypto (or anything, frankly), then they wouldn't need your money, would they?

They're fake. It's really easy to do.
(The other possibility is that they were left by genuine customers who are really happy about how friendly and helpful the nice man was who took their money, and haven't yet found out that they've been scammed. However, that tactic takes more effort and this sounds like more of a short con.)

It isn't. It's a bog-standard advance fee fraud (aka Nigerian prince).

Change your phone number and any other contact details you gave them, as you are now on a suckers' list and will be getting lots more calls like this.

Bit coin………Unsolicited phone calls………Promises of positive returns…….Upfront charges.

    Sounds good to me.

Throwing money in the toilet is not normally seen as a good investment strategy, so best not to ?

It's not endorsed by Martin Lewis. It's easy to spot, if you see his name you know it's a scam and it shouldn't be convincing as he doesn't do ads..
Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.
  • Any idea where to report them and how to stop the endless calls? Just now the person threatened me with more calls, if I dont sign up and transfer £220. surely this kind of behaviour illegal?

If it's based in Singapore or otherwise abroad I doubt there's much you or anyone else can do. If it's to a landline you could get a call blocker/screener? If you don't give them any money then I'd imagine they'll eventually get bored.
